Thank you for your interest in the Manteca Transit Dial-a-Ride service, we look forward to assisting you with your travels. Attached you will find an application for certification on transit agencies throughout San Joaquin County, making travel throughout the county easier than ever. Agencies include: Manteca Transit, Lodi Grape Line, Tracy TRACER, and E-Trans (Escalon).
On page 1 on the application you will indicate which agencies you would like to apply for; you may apply to as many agencies as you wish, all information will be forwarded to each agency you select on your behalf. Please note, certification with San Joaquin RTD requires additional steps/paperwork.
The Dial-a-Ride service is available for people who are unable, due to physical or mental disability, to independently use the Manteca Transit fixed-route system. Yet, as an added service, riders age 62 and older, and those receiving Medicare benefits, are also eligible to use Manteca Transit Dial-a-Ride. We do however encourage all passengers to experience the freedom of our fixed-route service. Manteca Transit fixed-route allows you to travel when you want with no appointments and at a lower cost; only $.50 per ride.
Your completed application will be reviewed and a decision regarding your eligibility for Dial-a-Ride service will be made within 21 days. You may be found eligible for Dial-a-Ride service for your travel needs, or you may be found capable to use the fixed-route system. An appeals process has been established if you disagree with the decision made regarding you eligibility status.
If you choose to take advantage of the opportunity to apply for certification on other transit agencies, your application will be forwarded to the necessary persons by Manteca Transit staff.

You have the right to request an appeal. If your application is denied and you disagree with the decision, you may file an appeal within 14 days of your denial. You may contact the General Manager at (209) 456-8888 to file your appeal. All appeal decisions will be made within 30 days and a written notification of the reason for the decision will be provided
